To ensure a safe application with maximum performance, follow the instructions below:
Surface Preparation:
• Sand with 80 or 150 sandpaper. Then clean the part with Degreasing Solution removing all oil, dust, corrosion and water.
Application:
• Homogenize the Polyester Polyester Mass before its application;
• Remove the desired quantity and place it on a flat and clean surface, removing all oil, dust, corrosion and water;
• Add 1 (one) gram of the Benzoyl Peroxide Catalyst for every 100 grams of mass;
• Mix well until obtaining a homogeneous mass;
• Apply the catalyzed mass, with the aid of an applicator (celluloid) directly on the bare sheet in thin layers until the defect is corrected;
• Apply in thin layers using moderate pressure to ensure better adhesion and finish. Apply additional layers until the imperfection is corrected;
• After drying, sand with dry sandpaper (sandpaper 80 - 150 and end with sandpaper 220 - 320);
• Drying time for sanding: 25 ° C = 20 to 30 minutes.
Tips:
• The product must be applied directly on bare plate;
• When preparing the mass (catalysis), use the correct amount of catalyst (1%), thus avoiding problems such as bleeding;
• Do not put the prepared mixture in the can;
• Wait for the recommended drying time to avoid mapping;
• Avoid forced drying at high temperatures, as it can cause cracks, bubbles and loss of adhesion;
• Wet sanding of the adhesive is not recommended, as the moisture retained in the adhesive during sanding with water can cause problems on the surface and finish;
• Isolate the repair site with Primer PU Polibra before applying the finish.
